This paper contains the work related to Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) that focuses mainly on Incremental Conductance Method (Inc. Cond) with direct control. For this purpose, dsPIC30F2010 microcontroller has been used for the programming of MPPT Method. The dsPIC30F2010 programming has been performed on MPLABIDE Software.
The MATLAB/SIMULINK and hardware study have been done using photovoltaic (PV) panels, Cuk converter and battery. Comparative study between hardware and MATLAB/SIMULINK has been performed and conclusions have been drawn.
